GHRP-6 is an injectable peptide from the category of growth hormone releasing peptides, or GHRPs for short. The most common use of these peptides is to dramatically increase the body's own growth hormone production. Other peptides of this category include GHRP-2, hexarelin and ipamorelin. As far as increasing growth hormone production is concerned, all of these peptides work in a similar way and there is neither need nor advantage to combine them. Instead, one chooses the peptide that best suits the specific application and combines it with peptides such as CJC or others that act as multipliers.
The main application of GHRP-6 is an increase of growth hormone levels, which also results in an increase of IGF1 levels. This also radically supports fat loss and muscle growth. In general, GHRPs are used as an alternative to injectable growth hormones or even combined with injectable growth hormones to achieve a quasi-dual effect, synthetic and natural. Reasons for favouring GHRP-6 over other GHRPs are its appetizing effect, though weaker than in GHRP-2, and its ability to reduce inflammation and aid in the healing of injuries such as tendonitis.
GHRP-6 is thus generally used for the same purposes as would injectable growth hormones be used. GHRP-6 is usually chosen if its use is less expensive and has less side-effects than growth hormones, or if growth hormones are not available.
These purposes may include increased fat loss, improved muscle growth when used in combination with anabolic steroids, skin cosmetic improvements and improved healing of injuries.
There is no need to cyclically use GHRP-6 and therefore GHRP-6 can be used whenever it is considered useful for any of the purposes enumerated above. However, if used on a long-term basis instead of temporarily boosting the effects of a steroid cycle or fat reduction program, I would recommend limiting the dosage to the lower end of the recommended dosage range.
Although GHRP-6 alone is capable of inducing a large increase in growth hormone production, a given dosage will have a significantly greater effect when used simultaneously with a GHRH, a growth hormone releasing hormone peptide. Alternatively, in a combination of GHRH with GHRP-6, only half or one third of the GHRP-6 dosage is needed to achieve the same increase in growth hormone production.
For this reason, the combined use of a GHRH with a GHRP is widespread, but even without such a combination, excellent results can often be obtained. A popular choice for a GHRH is CJC 1295 w / o DAC.
Injection of GHRP-6 is usually performed at least twice daily, preferably three times daily, preferably subcutaneously, for the best effect, at least 30 to 60 minutes before a meal and at a time when the blood glucose levels are not increased, in other words expressed after the injection is generally between 150 and 300 mcg. When GHRP-6 is used together with a GHRH, the dosage should be reduced to 50 to 100 mcg per injection.
In terms of increasing growth hormone levels, higher dosages within the recommended dosage range have a stronger effect. If GHRP-6 is used to aid in the healing of injuries such as tendonitis, then usually the lower end of the dosage range is quite sufficient and you will not necessarily be able to see a greater effect at higher dosages.
